Remove white margin at the top of the home page

Hi


I have deactivated slider revolution plugin from my website <Page options and choose "-- Select -- " under Slider Revolution. I have then deleted the plug in. There is a white bar showing at the top of the home page and I cannot get rid of it.

I have followed this guide: https://forum.muffingroup.com/betheme/discussion/70589/how-to-remove-revolution-slider which says to put empty brackets into the shortcode section and the white bar disappears but then the brackets appear

How can I get rid of it?
