Hello.

is it possible to have the main menu made so it uses the Classic layout but have the responsive (hamburger bar) triggered at all times?

basically i want a full width menu with the responsive layout and a background.

the other options don't seem to support that (the simple layout does not have a background etc).

any advice would be appreciated.

Hi,

Why won't you use the "Simple" type of header.

Let's give it a try - Theme Options > Header & Subheader > Header

i tried using it.

On some pages that header does not have a background and on some it does at the moment, so must be a setting i messed up somewhere.

I would like it to have a background on all pages preferably.

Sorry, but "Simple" header has to be transparent, it's hard coded in the theme.

If you would like to change it, you have to make a lot of CSS modifications of that top bar.

I hope it will be okay for you.

Also, that black bar is coming from "Revolution Slider", so please remove that and everything will be okay.

yea I know about the black bar. but i jut wanted to check if there is a easy way to change it so it's not transparent.

Unfortunately, not.

The "Simple" header has to be transparent.

Of course, it can be customized with CSS, but there is a lot of work to change with aligning - so we suggest not to do it, because it can broke the responsive view of your website.

Do you recommend any other alternative to get the menu to that stage? maybe a different plugin or something?

You can try to use our "Muffin Header Builder" plugin, but hamburger menu there can be enabled only for mobile and tablet - [Links visible only for registered users]

Can it be hidden with the footer too?

If so, you can choose the "Blank Page" template
