Theme Version: 25.1.9.1 don't work as expected... No menue and big header

edited January 2022 in Other

Hi Folks,

since the latest update my Wordpress Website (https://www.hypnosewelt-frankfurt.de ) has a lot of problems. The pages are displayed without a menue in some browsers and with a big haeder. I use WPBakery for the page generation and they point to you as a Theme provider.. ( See Mail )

The website was ok before

I need to get this fixed asap because this is my bussines website.

Monika

BethemeVersion: 25.1.9.1

WPBakery Page Builder 6.8

Mail from WPBakery:

Hi,

The issue is because the older WPBakery Page Builder is modified by the theme author by customizing the existing elements and adding the new one's. Now when you update it, the customization made by the theme author was lost which causes the issue. You can check it with the theme author if there is any way to preserve the customization done by him with the latest version, so that such an issue can be avoided at your end.

Thanks,

Hallo !

1. in the last version the Editor and the result of the page are not the same !

Die preview is ok, but in the live version the Header is 4 times bigger and there is no menue in Edge Browser! The Rendering-Engine zeigt in Chrome und Firefox zwei Header an! (this has changed in the latest Version )

  • Hi,

I have checked your website, and the menu appears on every page (tested with Chrome and Firefox).

About the font in the heading, please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists. Also, if you use a child theme, switch to parent, and recheck it.

Moreover, please go to Betheme -> Theme options -> Fonts -> Family, and check if the correct font family is set for the Big Headings.

    Thanks

  • Hi Phil,

thanks for the quick answer. It worked after switch off the "WPBakery Page Builder (Modified Version)" and now the Header has the normal size and also the browser on the mobile phones also have the right size and the menue.
