Home page banners

How do I edit the slider banners on the default shop theme under the menu? Id like to have an auto rotating banner there instead of the default one

  • Hi,

Do you refer to this part?

It is created with the Slider Revolution plugin, and it can be edited with it.

If you want to learn more about it, please, check their official manual.

    Thanks

  • When i go to the slider revolution in my admin panel its asking me to upgrade to premium. Do you have any of your own tutorial video showing how we can change the current banners or the style of the carousel?

  • Hi,

Purchase codes (license keys) are not included for plugins that are bundled into the theme. It’s because of the Themeforest license & agreements. This applies to all themes, of course. However, there is no need to use this code because the plugins are fully functional without it.

Slider Revolution is not our product, so we do not have any tutorials showing how to manage it, but I suggest checking their official website:

    Best regards

  • when i change the alias to something else other than bethemestore it changes the shortcode which makes it dissapear on the homepage so where is the shortcode for the current slider defined in the theme?

  • You can insert the sliders in three ways using BeTheme.

    1) Dropdown in page options, it will automatically be displayed in the header of your page (refresh required after changing it):

    2) Using the "Slider plugin" item in BeBuilder

    3) Shortcode using Column element - just paste ready shortcode in the Column item of BeBuilder.

    Thanks

On one of our product with a few variations one of them is out of stock the "GOLD" but it doesnt show it is out of stock it lets user select this option but the add to basket button is inactive : [Links visible only for registered users]

How can we fix this? btw we just updated to the latest version also

Edit: on the product variations its set as Out of stock in the stock status menu.

  • Please, turn off all of the plugins, refresh your cache, and check if the problem persists.

Moreover, if you use a child theme, switch to parent, and recheck it.

    Thanks

  • Okay that has fixed it, was a conflicting plugin that we no longer used.

Could you please tell me how we can change the font colours in places like the login page, the font is so light, the same happens in billing details etc, seems like its the same colour in all the forms,

  • You can change the form colors in Betheme -> Theme options -> Colors -> Forms.

    Thanks

  • Thanks a lot!

  • Im trying to create a store template and know how to do so but im unable to make my store template show the main store categories which are at this URL: [Links visible only for registered users]

How can I achieve the same in a custom template which i make because when i try edit the store page i cannot edit anything on it so I thought its better to create a template to which i can add images, banners etc

  • There is a Shop Categories element in the builder that you can use:

    Thanks

  • Hi,

ive tried that element, it has the option to show all categories which shows not only the parent category but all subcategories also which we have over 50 of. But the default shop/store categories has 10 and I want to show only them, so how do i do that?

  • You can try to use the WooCommerce shortcode for categories.

[Links visible only for registered users]

Put it in the Column Text element.

    Thanks

  • Ive tried that already also to display the top level categories using the short code: [product_categories number="0" parent="0"]

See how the page shows up: [Links visible only for registered users]

Original store page: [Links visible only for registered users]

How can I make it look the same as the original page?

  • Please send us WordPress dashboard access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at [Links visible only for registered users] and we will check that.

    Notice!

    Thanks

  • The shortcode you had was closed between <pre> tag, and it was causing this issue.

    Please, check this template now.

    Thanks

  • sent via contact form

  • I'm having an issue, when I'm editing the shop page, when i use the edit option or edit with be builder I cant actually add any content to the page to get my rank math rating higher I cannot even add an image with an alt text, please can you tell me how to do this??

  • Do you mean the main shop page?

    Are you using a template?

    Best regards

  • No not using a template on the main shop page, when i edit with BE builder i cannot add or remove anything from this page, why is that?

  • You need to use the template to add the content to the main shop page.

If you edit the shop page with the BeBuilder Blocks, it will be replaced with the content generated from the theme options or the template.

When you open the shop page, you will notice no edit button in the WP top bar.

I also suggest checking the video tutorial about Rank Math with WooCommerce.

    Thanks

Okay so when I activate the Hash’s Shop Template to the shop as you suggested above to be able to make changes to it to show the sub categories as default, I'm getting the top level categories on every category page that I click on. Please see the below image to perhaps clarify the issue im getting

Notice when activate the shop template all categories just showing the same sub categories, but on default the behaviour is different and i'd like the same behaviour as default but the ability to add banners and other things to the page.

Ive sent my website admin details via the contact form also.

  • With the include/exclude you will have to create a template for each category choosing the parent category ID.

    Thanks

  • How do i do this its confusing me now, i have to now create templates for every single parent categories if I want to add anything to the pages so how do use the exclude feature in my situation?

  • Yes, you will have to create a template for each parent category, and exclude the main shop page from them.

    Best regards
