Hi there, we have a problem after latest update

When we edit a page in BeBuilder, and update the changes, these are not saved

We emptied the cache, an we couldn't solve it

Any ideas?

  • Hey,

Please ensure that you have the lastest version of Betheme installed.

Also, please check if the problem persists with disabled plugins.

If this will not help please send us the WordPress dashboard and FTP access privately thru the contact form, which is on the right side at http://themeforest.net/user/muffingroup#contact, and we will check what might be the reason.

  • The issue is the following (detailed explanation)

We can edit pages. We can duplicate content or move it around and this is saved.

But, when we edit a column text it does not get changed

We turned off all the plug-ins

And it still doesn't solve the problem

    Thanks

  • Theme is up to date - Your version 27.0.2

    Wordpress 6.2.2

    No child theme

  • I sent the access credentials for Wordpress and ftp via the contact form you mentioned above

  • edited May 2023

    Theme updated to 27.0.3

fancy links not updating when saving either (inside column text block)

  • edited May 2023

And we turned-on the two most needed plugins as turning them off didn’t solve anything

  • Sorry, but the WP credentials you have sent are not working.

Can you send them again, please? Ensure that they are correct.

    Thanks

Sorry for the password error, there must have been an extra character somewhere

Please check now, it is working with the credentials we sent you

    Thanks!

  • Now it works, but the user you sent credentials to does not have admin rights.

Please change the privileges for this user.

    Thanks

  • Sorry for that,

    now you have admin rights

    thanks!

  • Thank you, now everything is correct.

I have opened a random page, and the changes I made in the Column Text element are visible on a live page.

Does it happens on a particular page, or there are any steps to reproduce this issue?

    Best regards

  • Hi Phill,

Some things we experience that are not working properly:

    1) On this page euro-reps.com.ar/centrifugas/

We cannot change the button at the bottom of this text (marked in red box)

    (the changes are not saves)

When you publish the changes, the button doesn't point to /centrifuga-peeler/ but it points to /centrifuga/ instead

The text of the fancy_link used is the following

    [fancy_link title="MÁS INFORMACIÓN" link="/centrifuga-peeler/“ style="6"]

    2) We tried to replicate the "TEST" text insertion on the same page in a block without fancy link and it doesn't update

    page: euro-reps.com.ar/centrifugas/

    3) Sometimes, when whe edit text in the "Text" tab, it did not get updated, and we had to go to "visual" tab to save it there to get the changes done.

    4) Button "fancy link" error is also happening on this page euro-reps.com.ar/zarandas/

On the block of text below

The button points to the same page where it is placed euro-reps.com.ar/zarandas/

instead of where it should point to : (text of the fancy link below)

    [fancy_link title="MÁS INFORMACIÓN" link="/zaranda-liwell-hein-lehmann/“ style="6"]

Live editing on this block of text is not working eitther

    Thanks Phill for your support!

  • I have switched from code to visual in BeBuilder settings, and I was able to correct these links.

These links contained extra characters that were not visible in the Visual editor, and they broke the link functionality. After removing these characters and leaving the correct links, they started to work correctly.

    Please check this out.

Thanks a lot Phill for your support!

We had changed the Columns Text Editor to "code" from "visual" after some previous suggestions found somewhere in the support.

I hope it is all solved now.

Otherwise we'll get back to you

    Thanks again, Phill!

  • Thanks for maintaining the theme and solving the eventual problems that may arise!

    Keep up the good work!

  • You are welcome.

    Glad we could help. 😉

    Best regards
