Popup not firing on blank page template
Hi,
I have verified that if I only switch from Default Template to Blank Page Template in page templates for a individual page, popup buttons stop working entirely.
Is this expected? Is there a fix for it, or another way around it?
I am trying to build a landing page without menus and such, as recommended, but popups don't fire.
#mfn-popup-template-12027 is the popup that works great in Default Template and fails entirely in Blank Page Template, if that helps.

Are you saying this is a known problem with the version I have? That would be super helpful information. Then I have an option to update, OR do something differently, rather than risk a day or two of chasing problems cased by updating - which is pretty common.
I'm usually hesitant to blindly update things like this because I have a total of 5 minutes to invest for that purpose. If there is any risk of consuming more than 5 minutes of my time today, it has to wait.

If you worry about an update, you can always create a backup using a Duplicator plugin.

If I recall correctly, it has already been corrected, but you have a version from 2024. Even if not for fixing, it is good to have everything up to date for security reasons.
Keeping tools updated is as crucial as creating regular backups.

That's what I needed. Most people don't have time to risk updates every time one comes out. Especially wordpress. I could easily spend half a work day a month just navigating updates. "Wordpress" is like "Democracy". The worst website platform, except for all the others... :)
So yes, once in a while we will do a big update and it always breaks things for days. A huge battle often requiring sweeping changes in how we do things, automate things like social media posting, etc. The tentacles are large and reach very far.
So I appreciate your guidance, I really do. I was happy to hear that it was just a small fix on your end that I could choose to work around some other way. That's better news than no one knowing what the problem is. :)
