Empty Shopping cart page displaying even thought the shopping cart is not empty

After adding a product to the shopping cart the "Shopping cart" page shows correctly, but briefly after a couple of seconds the "Empty Cart" page replaces the later. Refreshing the page shows the correct Not Empty page.

After analyzing the html code with Chrome Developer Tool, apparently the page that BeBuilder generates has a missing condition in the Empty cart section so it would hide when no items are in the cart.

I have been struggling with this problem the whole week, please I need assistant for this issue.
