To set menu in the footer, you need to go to Appearance > Menus > Manage locations section. But remember that if you have social icons in the footer, they would be replaced with the menu.

Yes, this function is using loopbacks. Looks like you server does not support loopback connection then. Looks like you need to try to import settings manually after demo import or switch to hosting that would support this function.

To set own copyright, you need to type own text under Theme options > Footer section.
