Hi, you can't. WooCommerce plugin does not allow to design own product or product category pages. You can work with default pages only and if necessary, use custom css to remove some things if are unnecessary. Thanks!

This padding comes from your custom css what you can see on http://pasteboard.co/T6IJ7p5.png and there is no way to display an background image in that section because of that padding. It's just technically not possible.

You are using wrong plugin then. You supposed to use http://mailchimp.com/ because we use that plugin and that one is compatible with our theme. This is the only MailChimp plugin which is used by all many wp developers.
