Also, when I drag the lower right corner of my browser to resize the window, my site logo disappears, reappears, etc. Could you help me understand what is causing that to happen? Thanks!

Okay. I just came to the realization that in the Overlay option one cannot have submenuing so trying to figure out if my menu not showing has something to do with that. :-/ Still need to know what the gray box is about.
