Let's formulate my question differently, im trying to solve this page speed error "serve Scaled Images" (Image)

they are scaled in html/css but i want to have them as a thumbnail to save size. And that is not happening somehow

no that's not solving the issue When i do that i get the result as shown on the image below. i just want the thumbnails to change on the portfolio grid cause now they are 960x750. and not a thumbnail size (Image)

I rey-loaded the images and the problem was gone thanks!
