1) As you may have noticed, the error does not come from the theme but from the WP catalog. Ensure that you have everything up-to-date.

I do not know exactly what you want to achieve, but you can check out templates.

If you set Theme options -> Search -> Form to search through shop products only, the search results page will have the main shop page layout.

The sizes you set there are too big.
