There is no way to do that, action bar is limited to depth 1If you want to have dropdown menu, you have to insert your language switcher in main menu.Or, use the list of languages instead of dropdown

Should have thought of that! It was a plugin called Mobile Menu causing the issue.

Sorry but the selector in the Action bar was the "right" one, not that in the menu: (even if the selector in Action Bar has not the arrow to select the language!)
